In this blog article, I bring to you 5 more lessons that I learned in the past year. I already made the first part of these lessons which you can check out here if you haven't already. They're not in any particular order, so feel free to click it after reading this one. For those who already saw part one, I really hope that you enjoyed it and you can also enjoy this one just as much, if not more. And without much to say, let's tap in. QUICK DISCLAIMER:  All the information provided down below is all based on my perspective and my experience and should not be considered psychological advice. Enjoy your reading. 6. DISCIPLINE Being disciplined has been a huge lesson for me because it taught me the core concept of doing something I had to do whenever the motivation wasn't there for me. It also taught me that motivation can be generated by the action. When I started cultivating discipline, I stopped relying on my emotions, putting away the "I don't feel like it...

MY 2022 LESSONS (Part I)

Image
2022 for me was a year of growth, and that would be the word I would choose if I even had to describe my year in one word. With that, a bunch of lessons came with it that I am grateful to have that kind of introspection and now also be able to share with my readers. So with all said, I now share with you my first 5 lessons from last year and I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them. QUICK DISCLAIMER:  All the information provided down below is all based on my perspective and my experience and should not be considered psychological advice. Enjoy your reading. 1. ISOLATION Being isolated was one of my biggest lessons in 2022 because for once I was able to fully enjoy my own company. With that, I was able to manage and control my thoughts and emotions (see nr 5) without having to worry about external distractions. I was more in tune with myself, and I was able to trust myself and my intuition more, and in most cases, I was able to make the best decisions of my l...

HOW TO BE ACCEPTED

Image
This will be a quick guide on what you should do to be accepted. And when I mention accepted, I mean accepted by other people, accepted by your desired circumstances (lifestyle), accepted by your higher self, and above all, accepted by yourself. QUICK DISCLAIMER:  All the information provided down below is all based on my perspective and my experience and should not be considered psychological advice. Enjoy your reading. WHY DO WE NEED ACCEPTANCE? If you are for reading this article for some reason, of course, you might be looking for an answer on how to be accepted, but you might also be asking yourself "why"? And if not, well, you might not be introspective enough, which is completely fine and I might hook you up with that in the future. But for now, you need to understand that for everything, we need to ask ourselves as many questions as possible so we can build the foundations for our motivations. So moving on, actually answering the question: WHY? Because it's simply...

YOU HAVE TO BE MORE GRATEFUL

Image
Surely we all have some gratitude, but are we grateful enough? Do you actually take a moment of your day to think about the things that you are grateful to possess? Here I am going to tell you why is it important to be more grateful, the benefits of gratitude, and how you can actually be more grateful. QUICK DISCLAIMER: All the information provided down below is all based on my perspective and my experience and should not be considered psychological advice. Enjoy your reading. THE IMPORTANCE OF GRATITUDE Gratitude is very important because we tend to overlook the things that we have and take them for granted. Although it's mostly not on purpose, surely there were times that we only gave more appreciation to something after we lost it somehow. Not only that but we seem to be worried and go after what we don't have yet and to some extent neglect everything that we've attained. Understand that we as human beings are never satisfied, we're always looking for more. I'm...

OVERCOME YOUR FEARS

Image
Here I'm going to expose my (current) vision around the concept of fear, and how I actually use it to my benefit. QUICK DISCLAIMER : All the information provided down below is all based on my perspective and my experience and should not be considered psychological advice.  Enjoy your reading. DEFINITION Fear is an emotion that "detects" danger. Whenever this emotion is triggered, it transmits the information that you are in a potentially threatening and/or harmful situation, usually giving you an instant reaction to avoid that same threat or harm. We all know this and we've experienced it because it is a surface-level definition. However, as we grow and develop, especially in today's society, we tend to not allocate this emotion at its surface level purpose. This has to do with personality, education, culture, and traumatic experiences that in a severe case develop a phobia. FEAR IS BLOCKING YOUR GROWTH Due to this growth and development of self and the modern wor...
